Today is the first day of September that I’ve had to work, and I knew it would be a real test of this process. Historically, I’ve been great at writing every day when I have no other commitments, but as soon as I need to go into the office or hang out with friends, things go downhill.
So I’m happy to say that this morning I actually got up at a reasonable time (even after meal prepping and watching too much New Girl last night!) and wrote a whole scene. That’s right. Not just a jumble of words or a response to a kinda interesting writing prompt. A scene.
